After cops stop a car for recklessly driving in between cars, officers ask the suspect to do the sobriety test to see if she’s safe to drive. The suspect fails to walk in a straight line. Elsewhere, cops respond to another reckless driving call. This time the driver is driving too slowly.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.
