Hi guys, it’s Brandy from Green Wellness Life coming from our warehouse today to talk with you a little bit about pet products. Pets have the same endocannabinoid system that we do. So, they can see some of the same benefits from our hemp products. We have a decent array to choose from. We’ve got liquids, soft-gels, powders, and treats. So, lots of different ways for you to add hemp oil and CBD supplements to your pets diet – right along with yours.
So, I wanted to talk through some of the options. First, let’s talk about liquids. We’ve got three liquid options for two pets specifically (one for cats and two for dogs). Cats are a true carnivore, so they aren’t able to digest all of the plant-based oils in the same way that dogs can. So, we’ve found that some types of base carrier oils might give cats upset stomachs. To avoid this, we carry a cat line from Purfurred. This is the Purfurred CBD for cats and they use an olive oil base, which is well-tolerated by cats.
For the dogs, we have the Purfurred CBD for dogs, which is the counterpart to that cat tincture with a different base oil. The other dog liquid that we have is from Social CBD. The Social tincture is quite a bit stronger and it’s an isolate vs. the full-spectrum oil that is used by Purfurred.
We just have one softgel option and that is from Panacea. These are 10 milligram softgels. If your dog doesn’t like the liquids or you have trouble with that, then you can use the softgel and just force feed that, or you can puncture the end and squeeze it right on their food. It’s a nice way to get a pre-measured amount of CBD.
We’ve also got powdered supplements from Therabis. Therabis has three sizes and three variations. They come in a little tiny satchel and there’s a small, medium, and large size based on your dogs weight. This packet would be opened up and dumped onto the dog’s food, or mixed in like a treat. They have a calm and quiet, a stop the itch, and an up and moving.
Then we’re into treat land. So, we have a brand new product for picky pets. This is from Koi and these are their soft chews. They are full-spectrum and there are 2.5 milligrams of CBD per treat. We’re currently carrying two flavors of Therabis treats. We have the turkey and the pumpkin flavors. The pumpkin and turkey both have 4 milligrams of CBD per biscuit and the recommended serving size would be one per 40 lbs.
